Most people are unaware that wildfires can be either beneficial or harmful to nature. They also don’t realize that a devastating wildfire caused by
human activity. Therefore, I create this wildfire prevention PSA for the National Association of State Foresters (NASF) to increase awareness around
wildfire prevention, encourage donations to support NASF’s expert wildfire management for our forests and communities.

The National Association of State Foresters Foundation (NASF) is a non-profit organization that was
established in 1983by state foresters to promote and advance state and private forestry in the United States.
The foundation supports educational initiatives that foster and recognize state forestry agency leadership in
promoting healthy, well-managed forests.
Key Roles of NASF for Wildfire
01. Wildfire Prevention and Education
Promotes fire safety campaigns like Smokey Bear and provides wildfire prevention tips
02. Policy & Advocacy
Supports wildfire management policies and collaborates with agencies

Main Content Structure of NASF’s PSA
Since the key role of a PSA is to deliver essential information and messages to the public,
I decided to focus on wildfire prevention and education among the various main roles of NASF.

Part 01 Information on beneficial and devastating wildfires
Part 02 The scale of damage and causes of devastating wildfires
Part 03 Promote donations for NASF and encourage checking of wildfire prevention tips from NASF
Design concept
Mix Media
The PSA for NASF is a single video divided into three parts. One style alone isn’t enough to express each part and the diversity of life in the forest.
So, I use mix media to give a different feeling for each part while also unifying them. Various textures, photos, and typography come together to
convey the richness of nature, the energy of life, and the powerful destructive feeling of wildfire.
